David Metcalfe Bloodstock International, in association with English and eleven times South African champion jockey Michael Roberts, invite you to become owners with us, at Michael's new training centre in Howick, South Africa.
Barrington Farm already has quite a few English and international owners. Situated in Natal the stable is centrally placed between both racing centres, Johannesburg and the Western Cape. Barrington has 40 boxes, two gallops, one turf and one all weather. Both are 5 furlongs, uphill and are designed on Warren Hill gallops Newmarket, which Michael knows well. The farm has 800 acres ensuring all the inmates get their fair share of time out of their boxes each day.
With a basic training fee of £325 per month (including gallop fees) top quality racing, good racecourses and brilliant weather, you know it makes sense.
With your horse(s) being trained at altitude (1100 metres) they compete locally on a level playing field but with a great advantage when they move down for the Western Cape season. They have the same added advantages as the two legged athletes that spend months each year altitude training.
With the quality horses Michael has ridden, it follows he knows a good horse and his ambition is to carry on from being a world class jockey to a world class trainer.
